This 45 minute session will allow you ample time to make sure the sauna is at your desired temperature between 90-140 degrees F. We require either shorts or a bathing suit to enter the sauna. This time frame allows for about 20-30 minutes inside the sauna with time to set up prior to entering the sauna, and time to recover after you exit the sauna.
Infrared saunas use far infrared light waves to warm the body. These far infrared waves are invisible light rays produced by the sun. These beneficial light waves penetrate the skin to provide heat to our bodies specifically our blood vessels, muscles and other tissues. Infrared saunas are used at a lower temperature than traditional saunas. This temperature of 90-145 degrees allows for a more comfortable environment for optimal relaxation.

Contraindications for sauna use
- Medications: certain medications prescriptions and over the counter can alter the bodies ability to sweat. Please consult with your doctor prior to booking session
- Chronic conditions that caused reduced ability to sweat (MS, Diabetes with neuropathy): consult with your doctor prior to booking session
- Pregnancy and breast feeding
- Eldery: please use caution with use of sauna if you are over 70. Saunas can be used at a lower temperature
- Cardiovascular conditions: please consult with you doctor prior to booking session
- Alcohol: refrain from drinking alcohol before or during a sauna session
- Bleeding disorders, fever and heat sensitivity: do not use the sauna
- recent injury: refrain from using sauna for initial 48 hours
- Pacemakers and defibrillators: please contact your doctor prior to booking session
In the unlikely event that you feel pain or discomfort while using the sauna, please exit sauna immediately.
